It had so many great moments this season. I Love Todou and Itadori's fight against the special grade and really all of the characters have such great chemistry and setups for great development. Really high hopes for this series but almost every shonen I've ever loved drops the ball at some point
Its a shonen that reminds me of the late 90s as much as it feels like from the current trend of late 2010s-2020s shonen. Like an edgy love letter that is as dumb as it is fun and spooky.
I watched Berserk for the first times a few months ago. I mainly wanted to watch it to see how the music from Susumu Hirasawa was used. Soundtrack is great.
That show was something. And man, that 2016 version is just horrible-looking.
Watched my first anime last fall. Here's what I've seen so far
- Neon Genesis Evangelion
- Attack on Titan
- Death Note
- (Currently) Dragon Ball
Now that a few months have passed, I loved Neon Genesis and Attack on Titan. Death Note I'm kinda eh on. I'm certainly enjoying Dragon Ball, but I want another show to watch with it since there are so many episodes.
Anyone check out Star Wars Visions? Some of the episodes were quite good, my favorite was the one produced by the studio who made Ghost in the Shell. Some were too anime-y for my preference, and some seemed like they could've been canon Star Wars stories which also were a bit meh. A few of the episodes hit an awesome sweet spot though _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!
