Overall probably the second most popular sport behind football/soccer. The popularity of sports here also depends on our success or whether we have any top level athletes there, so basketball is pretty big, because we're traditionally relatively successful + we have Luka Dončić right now...
I'm glad that Bucks won, happy for Giannis. Goes to show that nothing is certain in this sport, I really thought the Nets would walk away with this. I really hate that there have been so many injuries, but it probably made things tighter (same in the west).

While Gowi can now say "I told you so", I'm still 100% certain that even 2/3 fully healthy Nets stars means they win against pretty much everyone left in the playoffs, considering injuries to the other teams and all. Thrilled that the Bucks have won though. I don't think I've liked both teams in the finals since I've become an NBA fan. In fact, there was several occasions where I didn't like either team at all. Whoever progresses this year of the 5 teams left, I'm happy and Suns - Bucks finals would be especially dope.
Also Suns - Clippers is gonna be so good, this game 1 felt like game 7.
Edit: Also Durant's behaviour and post game interview is one of the best and most dignifying I've ever seen. I'm officially not angry at him anymore for making the finals boring for a few years.

4 teams left. Any predictions for the Finals? I will say Suns over Bucks. But that's mainly because that's what I'll be rooting for. It feels like the start of a new era. The Milwaukee Bucks have one league title (1971), the St. Louis Hawks won a title in 1958 but the Hawks have never won a title since moving to Atlanta in 1968. Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers have never won a title. So whoever wins it, it will be pretty special for that fan base and that city!
