that's the first I've heard of someone having a fever after the vaccine. But it's apparently like a day of having covid, so that sounds about right
Congrats btw, I had that sort of adverse reaction to my first dose, 2nd coming up soon!

So am i.. I've got the first injection of Astrazeneca vaccine this last monday afternoon, then headache,some fever yesterday (symptoms very similar to flu).. I'm back to "normal life" today. As these symptoms seem to be "stronger" for young people , this vaccine is currently used only for old timers (i'm 62 ) in France as in many other european countries.
My wife got similar symptoms when she got the second vaccine injection (was the pfizer vaccine ) , but nothing for the first.

Canada has completely dropped the ball with the vaccine. My gf's dad has blood cancer and he hasn't even gotten the shot yet. We'll probably have yet another wasted summer.
My mother is terrified of the shot because she's slowly becoming an anti-vaxer (hangs out with too many other hippy moms).

I got the Johnson and Johnson a couple of days before it got pulled...... I did get really sick for about three days but I'm still alive so that's something

What an absolute mess this is. Embarrassing. I almost feel like the government has borderline quit trying to run a decent rollout and settled with whatever mediocrity is currently going on. Are you also getting the media muddle of "we have so many vaccines! / we have no vaccines!" (????). I try not to get too political (in general), and I'm not necessarily pro or anti Trudeau, but I'm just not feeling we have leadership anywhere right now.
My family are pro-vax, etc... and even they're holding out. Mainly because none of them trust the gov to have second-dose supplies after the 4-month wait, but the AZ safety problems aren't helping.
It'll be another wasted summer for sure. (Being said, you get snow today?  About 5 inches here). At this rate, I genuinely don't believe I'll be fully vaccinated until late fall, early winter.
