Food For Thought by Che Noir

W by ボリス [Boris]

The Gods We Can Touch by AURORA (NO)

Apart from those great releases Hayden has listed, there's also a new Zeal & Ardor album on the way, as well as Swans and Amorphis. Don't think we've mentioned any of them yet in our February releases rundown in this thread.

La Cave Live

new archival material from my favorite year of Ayler, with his bro and Michel Samson

Counterfeiting in Colonial Connecticut

strange harmonic melodies for guitar with bass and piccolo underpinnings and readings on George Floyd, today's pandemic, and how America's police and prisons have always sucked (still on the fence with a lot of tiles)

Tissues by Pan Daijing

Aight, so— it's a performance piece, of post-industrial opera. And it's very good. Super cold, winter-y— harsh, airy— almost like a bleak heavenscape. It's a total shake up from her previous work. Almost like Laurie Anderson and Trent Reznor did a modern-art collab.

And the new Jake Xerxes Fussell is also excellent. That guy really has something going for him. Really enjoyed the production this time around too. Think he might have picked up some better mics since his last.

Saw these two floating around, will give them a shot. Tissues seems bizarre from descriptions.

I've finally played that new Denzel Curry song, and it's... the best thing I've heard this year. It's too early, but I'll still call it a song of the year candidate. It'd be in the top 20 or top 10 of last year.

Agreed! Loving his new record even more than the last. The production is gorgeous - he has such a beautiful way of bringing traditional folk ballads back to life.

This came outta nowhere and I fell in love with this album. I suggest everybody (no matter your taste in genres) should give it a little listen.

Ditto this, it's ~30 minutes and only 2 tracks (some outlets are calling it an EP rather than an album). It's wonderful minimal piano music
