For all my many fellow Grindcore fans on this site, just a heads up to set aside some time for the potential album of the year dropping in a few hours.
That being the sophomore album by Tennessee Deathgrind maniacs KNOLL! “Metempiric”is the name.
Also just recently finally checked out the new 2022 LP by Pharmacist. It was SHOCKING. As one of the best modern Goregrond bands I really expected well goregrind, disgusting, off putting gores grind. Instead it’s a brilliant mix of like profit Human/Individual Thought Patterns-Era Death with lots of Mid 90s/Heartwork-era Carcass along with yes of course a whole lot of gloriously violent grind. It’s a sick LP.
Edit: new KNOLL Lp is available on their YouTube channel now. It’s brutal and pretty incredible.
Was looking forward to both of these and didn't realize either were already released, thanks for the heads up! Many of the rest of those look interesting as well, added to my queue.
Also, Orville Peck's Bronco is probably my favorite of his so far. The album starts out so strong and just continues to be great. His voice really shines. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!
She & Him have an album of Beach Boys/ Brian Wilson covers on the way. I don’t know how that sounds anything but good.
Yeah, sounds good to me. Beach Boys music is a perfect fit for their style. Some people really hate She and Him though - I doubt this will change their mind. _________________ Top 40 Greatest Music Albums by indieshins

I never knew people hated them. Probably because of New Girl
Agree, this is a good fit for She & Him. I know they don’t do anything so original, but they do sound really good and are probably at their best as a covers band.
