Hmmmm.... Going to Milwaukee with my girlfriend for the next several days to watch my Boston Celtics take down the Bucks. Any chance we can extend this to late Sunday night/early Monday morning. <we get back Saturday afternoon.>

No problem. The new soft deadline is Tuesday 00:00 GMT which is Monday 20:00 in Boston and 19:00 in Milwaukee, if my math is correct. Lemme know if you need more time.

Left this round open for 12 hours more than I initially planned, and it's a good thing I did since there were a lot of last-minute votes. There's 1 tie currently (Yeule vs Innocence Mission, 2 excellent songs), so I'll leave that one open for 32-ish hours. The next batch of Round 1 matches will be up soon™.

All the matches are up, I'm updating the spreadsheet rn. This second part of the first round looks even better to me. Let's hope the voting numbers remain this high for the whole tournament. The (very) soft deadline is 7 days, it'll probably be extended by a day, depending on the votes, comments, your wishes and my schedule.

Hands up if all of your songs were eliminated in the first round. I'm not even that mad at most of those matches, but Paprika got eliminated by some 100 year old Bob something guy and his 3 hour song. That one I'm mad at. I'm gonna make a coffee.
