In my recently completed 1980s chart, I have an album The Brains by the artist The Brains. There is a problem that can not be simply addressed in the admin corrections. The problem is that there is a different artist called The Brains, and they have an album called The Brains from 2009. The information that came up for my chart for the album The Brains is incorrect--it is the information for that 2009 album by a different band. However, the album art is from my 1980 album. So, there needs to be a completely new entry for my album The Brains, release year 1980. I can supply the tracks information. The 2009 Brains album can stay as is for the other person's chart, except that the album art needs to be corrected. Also, there needs to be a new artist added for my band the Brains. The albums listed under the Brains are mostly by the other band, except that the album Electronic Eden (also in my recently completed 1980s chart) is by my Brains. Those are the only two LPs my Brains ever did. The track information and album art for Electronic Eden in my chart is correct. As an aside, the 1980 album by the Brains has the song Money Changes Everything, which a few years later was covered by Cyndi Lauper and was a hit. So, the Brains shouldn't be THAT obscure.

Thanks for posting and apologies for problem. Just updated the 2009 album with the correct artwork. Added a second artist with same name and a 1980 album attributed to them (disambiguated artist with decade suffix as per BEA guidelines when two artists from same country share same name). Assigned Electronic Eden to the new artist and updated the 1980 self-titled album in your chart to the new album. Hope this is ok, but please let me know if you need anything further to be done.

Thanks! Info is all good for my Brains (1980s). The only thing is that the other Brains (with the 2009 album) are actually from Canada. I think it did say Canada at the time I first posted, but somehow switched the U.S. before you got to it.

Thanks for clarifying. This has now been updated (country code now used as disambiguation).
