One of my least favorite albums in the top 500. Nearly everything that I dislike about krautrock. Tago Mago is worlds better.

Extraordinary album of funk meets psych inside a primal avant-garde
that I’ve never grown tired of in almost 50 years of listening.

This was the first Can album I listened to.

I like this album quite a bit and I think it serves as kind of a Tago Mago-lite. That’s certainly not to downgrade this album, but Ege’s production isn’t quite as varied and it doesn’t stretch its experimental limbs out as far as it’s predecessor. They’re both great records.
