ITT: Great live versions/performances of songs. Videos appreciated. What can you think of?

Link
ditches the best part of the studio version but is just as good.

Always loved this version.. You can also see how Jonny does the background "noises" that IMO make this song so so great. I actually think I started loving this song as much as I do now when I saw/heard this ^^ (though it's not that far off the studio version)

One from my favourite live album (from the very few I actually heard):

I have already explained before why I love the album as much as I do, but let me just say that this should be listened even by those that generally don't like Nirvana. They did something that was totally unlike their general sound and it happened to be just as good and in places even better (example - this song ^^^^)

Yugoslavian (early) 80s bands usually had poorly produced albums (or maybe that was intentional Think ), but their live performances were mostly really great. No videos here, sorry:

vs THIS

the crowd make this so fLIcking great
(vs. this)

And another one, by a group called Film: LIVE vs STUDIO (I think this is the most obvious example of what I was saying)

And for the lulz:

(who the hell does that hahahaha Laughing )

P.S. If there's another thread I'm sorry, I couldn't really remember so I made this.

check out any live performances of the TV on the radio song forgotten, The way they play it live blows the album version (in my opinion terrible) away.

Daniel John's was suffering from reactive arthritis around this time and couldn't usually play his guitar for more than a song or two.

After the performance around the 7 minute mark, Eddie tells the crowd the few acts that have caused the stage to bounce like it did during this performance at Madison Square Garden

I agree with Bork. "At Filmore East" is the greatest live album I've ever heard.

I fell in love with Arcade Fire with this. I don't know why I love it so much, I find the excitement fascinating.

One of my favorites all time with Paul Simonon and Mick Jones, how awesome is that? Plus this version is more indie rock-esque, even though I love more the studio one, this one is sick too as well.

The 1989 MTV VMAs had some great live acts, But The Cure stoled the show with this awesome live rendition of Just Like Heaven

The Cure live performances during the early 80s were intense, especially during the Pornography tour. This is probably my favorite live version of The Hanging Garden

Has been posted a couple of times before. I particularly like the part where Byrne starts punching himself in the throat while Belew makes seagull noises.
