Queen at wembley stadium is pretty damn good.
Guns and Roses Use your Illusion shows the band playing with high energy- Axle Rose is a mere shadow of the performer he once was.
Jimi Hendrix live in Monterey is pretty jaw dropping. _________________ New fav's: The Weepies, Art Brut, 311. Old Fav's: Bowie, zepalin, stones, buckcherry, cheap trick, couting crowes. Seen: Black Crowes, Nirvana, Ugly Kid Joe, Pretenders, Phycadelic furs, Ozzy, Thompson Twins, B Adams...regret not seeing G&R.
This film (originally released in 1982) is not really A single concert...but, clips from several locations throughout the U.S. and Europe. However, it views as one hell of a great showcase for dozens of wonderful acts taken from a snippet of time that was extremely productive, influential and creative. I don't think there's anything but excellence on this DVD.
Just a few of the artists featured on this DVD:
Gary Numan
Pere Ubu
XTC
The Cramps
Dead Kennedys
Echo & The Bunnymen
The Go-Go's
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Oingo Boingo
999
Wall of Voodoo
Gang of Four
X
Devo
Surf Punks
Steel Pulse
Klaus Nomi
UB40
The Police
Magazine
...and more!
Definitly check this one out! I have watched my copy more times than I can count...and it never ceases to amaze me and entertain me again and again. _________________ Speakers of the House DJ
