Studio One Rocksteady by Various Artists

Brill compy from Soul Jazz Records...so many great tracks here but Row Fisherman Row (Wailing Souls), Joy in the morning (Gaylads), Love won’t come easy (Heptones) and Me & You (Carlton & The Shoes) make it worth the entrance fee alone. What I do know is that I’d have never bought something like this if it wasn’t for Jimmy Dreads reggae chart so Cheers pal.

Pleasure mate. One of the best Soul Jazz Studio One compys, even if it does miss my surefire, all-time fave rocksteady number (to be found on Studio One Classics):

Love that...Studio One classics added to the want list. Considering we’ve never met Jim it scares me how you get what’s gonna grab my attention time & time again.
