On vinyl:

How The West Was Won by Toyan

The Wild Heart by Stevie Nicks

In Your Mind by Bryan Ferry

Living My Life by Grace Jones

On CD:

His Band And The Street Choir by Van Morrison

A Wizard, A True Star by Todd Rundgren

Fleetwood Mac (1975) by Fleetwood Mac

Tango In The Night by Fleetwood Mac

Then some stuff that isn't on the database:

A Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan album called Magic Touch, which appears to have been recorded in Birmingham in 1991 with a producer called Bally Sagoo. If anyone knows anything about this release, I'm all ears.

The other CDs were best ofs or compilations, of the Doobie Brothers, CCR, Françoise Hardy, and Terry Callier, respectively.

Whole lot was £35. Solid haul.

A Byrd...

Ethiopian Knights by Donald Byrd

A (green coloured) Parsnip...

When The Tree Bears Fruit by Parsnip

An Emu...

(which is actually a double LP collection of Juan Adkins tracks on Metatone from the 90s. Essential techno, fantastic stuff - album of the year if it wasn't a compy)

Some synth-punk goodness...

People In The Sun by Powerplant

Album of the year innit

And...

Killer Upsetters compy from 1970 on Pama. Original copy... which considering the most reasonable price for a decent copy on Discogs is $400 was something of a bargain at £10 from Gumtree.

Technically I bought this earlier in the week, but been road trippin.

A bunch of classical vinyl box sets for an average of $5 a pop:
Something I recently fell in love with:

Haydn: Die Schöpfung by Herbert Von Ka...harmoniker

Two of the Ring Cycle from Solti:

Wagner: Das Rheingold by Sir Georg Solt... Orchestra

Wagner: Siegfried by Sir Georg Solti / ... Orchestra

A box set of basically this:

J.S. Bach: Organ Works / Toccata & ...ower Biggs

A different version of this:

Die Dreigroschenoper by Kurt Weill / Bert Brecht

Another box set of this:
Beethoven*, Alfred Brendel, Zubin Mehta, Heinz Wallberg & Wilfried Boettcher - The 5 Piano Concerti: Choral Fantasy, Rondo In B Flat, Sonatas Nos 26 & 24, Fantasy In G Minor

Then:

The Joker by Steve Miller Band

Endless Summer by The Beach Boys

Smiley Smile by The Beach Boys

And then ordered this today on blue vinyl since I couldn't find it any cheaper local: (now have their 1980-1997 catalog on vinyl, including a 12" single for Angel of Harlem and Wide Awake in America EP -and really I consider the Under A Blood Red Sky record an EP, but whatevs)

Nice to meet you too mate. Racking up my collection of BEAers as well as adding to the record pile. Speaking of which, bought off Facebook today for £10 each:

Meat Puppets by Meat Puppets

Give Me Convenience Or Give Me Death by Dead Kennedys

Land Speed Record by Hüsker Dü

Radios Appear by Radio Birdman

All 80s presses - the Radio Birdman LP is the original Australian tracklisting, with the Aussie cover to boot - bit of a find.

Also picked up this week - a super-fine collection of Gospel 45s on Luaka Bop: well worth a listen for fellow spiritual groovers and shakers:

And a repress of this album that's been on my BEAutiful chart ever since day dot...

Gotta Take It Cool by Ebo Taylor Jnr With Wuta Wazutu
