Ah!
Beautiful Glasgow...
Spent a year of my life there. What a city to be a student in.
Especially in the mid 90s, when the whole brit music scene was on full power...
Anyways, what was the question?
Scottish music.
The Primal Scream of course!!! (no one has mentioned THEM already???)
And the wonderfull Biffy Clyro. And the Soup Dragons.
And some respect maybe for the pop lovers: Travis. They've had some excellent singles.
Plus if you go back in the 80s you'll find Eurythmics and the Simple minds, and Deacon blue and... Wet wet wet.

And no-one should forget that Oasis forced themselves into being discovered when they bullied themselves in a Glasgow club called King Tut's Wah-wah Hut.
Sometime please tell me this place is still open. I've seen some excellent gigs there...

Is that Scottish in the sense of British? (with English, Irish and Scottish members of he band, I am thinking that might be what you mean... Wink )
