what's the lowest rated album people wanted to include on their charts? mine's A Picture of Nectar by Phish. (it's not actually on my chart yet; they only let me do 40 albums, and this one's #84). in addition, i have one album that isn't even in the BEA database; that's Casualties of Retail by Enter the Haggis. anyone else?

Black Star - Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star - 899
Pixies - Come On Pilgrim - 1296
Jamie T - Panic Prevention - 1545
Roots Manuva - Brand New Second Hand - 14244

Not surprised the rap albums are ranked low on this site but I'm surprised about the Pixies being so low. Brand New Second Hand only appears in my list.

Out of curiosity, what's the lowest album? Does anyone know?

I'd have more in the 14000 region if I was allowed more than 40 albums Crying or Very sad

it doesn't really matter because it's replaced relatively frequently. there are several albums that have been added to the database yet don't appear in charts and haven't been rated, and these will make up the lowest ranked albums.

The lowest ranked album I have is Labradford's s/t, which has a rank score of 16, appears in one chart @ #43, has been rated twice, and is ranked at 11,825. I suspect the lowest ranked album doesn't extend much past 15k, if it extends that far.

For funsies, I've just entered an album into the database (John Cage-Cheap Imitation) and I'll report back when the system recognizes it and gives out a ranking.

14334 Songs for Dustmites - Steven Burns is the lowest in my chart - but I've added a lot of albums to the database so much of my list is ranked > 6000 overall

At spot #100 on my 70's chart is Billy Joe Shaver's Old Five and Dimers Like Me. Noone else has it in any of their charts. It has a rank score of 0 and is currently ranked #14,722. Has been there for a few weeks, so the system should have updated.

that's about right, it's actually got a rank score of 0.2 but the figures are rounded for presentation. 19 albums are tied with that score and it's tied as the lowest ranked album. Beyond that, there are many albums in the database that aren't ranked because they don't appear in any charts.
