Now I never was a big Linkin Park fan, but I do have to say that their debut album "Hybrid Theory" was real good...but then I bought "Meteora" and it was a complete waste of time. Now I don't listen to ANY Linkin Park...but In The End will always be their best song.

If you liked WOIIFTM, I can't see how you could be dissapointed.
I listened to Squeeze, by the Velvets. (Well, since Reed and Cale left it's technically not even a VU album) What a piece of shit. Waste of time. _________________ I would only wear a tye dye shirt if it was dyed with the blood of Jerry Garcia and the urine of Phil Collins.

I can see that. I loved We're Only... the first time I heard it. Freak Out! took a while to grow on me.

eMotiVe - A Perfect Circle
Radiohead Hail To The Theif
Also, Fleet Foxes had many good reviews at the time so i tried it and found out that it was some crap which belonged to an ancient period of time. I have a church over the back fence, 90+ yolds are singing more rocking hymns on Sunday mornings than this boring rubbish. Next time i will ignore the reviews. Same sort of thing can be said for Arcade Fire albums.

Led Zeppelin - Presence - The boys of the British sensation lost their knack after Physical Graffiti. The only thing impressive on Presence was "Achilles Last Stand" with Jimmy's long guitar solos, everything else was not Zeppelin.
Oasis - Pretty much everything after Morning Glory, I mean the first two albums by these guys was amazing. Only went down hill from there. There latest album, Dig Out Your Soul was promising with a more psychedelic and experimental feel, but it disappointed.
Weezer (Green album) - Nothing new from these guys, after great two first albums, Pinkerton and Blue Album, Green was awful, just mashed up guitar tracks with a whiny Rivers Cuosmo crying over losing his girlfriend. "Hash Up" and "Island In the Sun" were good though...
The Doors - Waiting For the Sun and The Soft Parade - both awful albums after the strong debut and Strange Days. Definately the worst days of The Doors, you could tell that Jim Morrison didn't give a fuck on those albums, only after getting an album named after him and getting a beard gave him the will to go on.

Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago (I brought this on the cover alone, found out about its acclaim when I got home... then I pressed play...)
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
Sonic Youth - Sister
Kate Bush - Aerial (I might not have listed this one if I hadn't paid £18 for my copy. Somewhere In Between and King of the Mountain are the only good songs)
Tool - Lateralus
Suede - Suede/Dog Man Star x2cd (Not one song I liked between them)
Laura Marling - Alas, I cannot Swim
All of the above were purchased with high expectations either because of internet recommendations (all before I found this site), critical acclaim, NME (now learned not to trust them), other work by the artist or having a cool album cover.

Wow. I love those. Do you like other Sonic Youth albums or do you discard Sonic Youth altogether ?
