One of the few albums I would describe as beautiful. I consider it the 2nd best album of the 90's. I'm kind of glad they called it quits after this, because I don't really know what direction they could have possibly gone after this masterpiece.

The birth of post-rock happened with The Colour Of Spring, bloomed into the Spirit Of Eden and ironically Laughing Stock is praised for being an brilliant album.

Well, you'll know if you listen to Mark Hollis' solo album, which is almost as beautiful as this one. I think Laughing Stock is one of the 10 best records ever made.
