Not sure I've really "got" this album yet - but it's full of really nice acoustic guitar songs with a nice under-produced sound that has a pleasant lack of polish.

Two Headed Boy is the song that springs to mind, but I'm sure if I listened carefully enough I could find many more great tunes.

Beautifully amazing perfection best spectacular genius brilliant great awesome incredible, etc.. etc... album.

Easily one of the best albums ever made. I find it odd how many of us think that this album is over-rated, yet those people seem to have it in their top 10. I think it's just the effect of how personal this album is to all of us (except hairy...shame he doesn't like it Sad ).

Craziest first listen of an album ever.

100/100

The emotional tone of this album is indescribable, like the fleeting, harried visions of a dying woman, or a lucid dream you can't find your way out of. Magical.

I wasn't that impressed with this on my first listen. I'd been listening to The Olivia Tremor Control almost exclusively for about a month. When I put in Aeroplane, it sounded a bit too normal or average in comparison. I liked it much more on subsequent listens, of course. It's now my favorite album (as anyone who's seen my left arm can guess). It's difficult to imagine ever liking an album more than this one.

I don't think the word "magical" describes any other album better than this one. It really shouldn't be an all time great album, but somehow you listen to it and that's just what it is. Just magical.

An amazing album, one that receives undeserved negative attention. Really should be in the top twenty albums of all time.
