As I understand, there is no era to be generally considered as the golden age. So I was wondering what all of you might may be and why. Any thoughts?

The 1920's. People all talked in that faux-Capone "but he's a cop, seeeee" drone, wore fantastic suits, drank in speakeasy's and listened to big bands.

That or 1979-1983, specifically in and around New York. Block parties all day.
