Tough one,I like 'Oracular Spectacular' and 'Vampire Weekend' end hugely,but I prefer 'Congratulations' to 'Contra',so MGMT it is.Although 'Congratulations' is a slap in the face to pop music if you ask me.

so i'm choosing my favorite music year of any within the rock/pop era, 1950s-and-on , or is there a set list i have to choose from?

At this point any year not already chosen from 1948 onward, though '36 and '40 could be a possibility Think (the Robert Johnson and Woody Guthrie recordings)
