Mansun - Six

I was going to put a wall of writing but I'll save it until later on.

The album 'Six' by Mansun is the one of the most ridiculous albums I have ever listened to. I am not saying it is a terrible, I'm saying it is ridiculous.

It's like a band has just gone into the studio and thrown every effect the poor machines can do there onto the album, jumbled up their songs so barely anything follows a reasonable format and thrown even more on top of that. It's... it's like a mountain of cowbell! And the lyrics! Nothing makes sense at all! They're sand castles of words mushed in whatever tone they want to give them. Is it about sitting in front of TV all day? Has it a message similar to Ok Computer's about the modern world? I can't really tell at all.

Not a lot of people would have heard of this album. This thread was inspired by listening to music in the dark last night. I picked a random album, turns out it was this one and had one of the most strangest and vivid music listening experiences I have ever had.
