Can't wait for Denmark to go on a tear... it would make for a great feel-good story. _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.

That's the Wales we all know and love. No idea who's gonna win this anymore... _________________

In other news, Goal Line Technology means there's no "phantom goal part III" in the making, but England - Germany remains the matchup everyone's waiting for.
That being said, I expect most - if not all - of the matches to be close affairs, can't see any of them being one-way traffic.
May the best teams win! | That's the one. I'm probably more critical than I need/want to be, but I don't like this Portugal team at all. Great players playing bad football, or at least the brand of football I don't care for. In other news, Italy vs Austria was quite something, did not expect such a tight match. Whoever progresses from the England - Germany match has an easy road since Netherlands look like the only real threat. I'm high on the Netherlands train for some reason, they look good meanwhile England and Germany were ass in the group stages. _________________ Finally updated the overall chart

Sadly, this description fits quite a few teams, for a second I thought you were talking about France, lol.
And yeah, Portugal hasn't been fireworks either, but I didn't expect them to be. They've been there, done that and know that shiny football won't get you far, recent history shows you have to grind it out.
Also, Germany were just as lucky, they just scraped through.
On the other hand, you could argue that all three of them were unlucky to be in the so called "Group of Death", so it evened out after all. _________________ Bob Dylan

To be fair, that was a little weird. I thought they played a surprisingly mediocre game.
Italy/Austria overtime was probably the best bit of this round so far.
I think whoever wins Portugal/Belgium will win the entire thing.

Somebody check if LedZep's ok.
Seriously, though, had Croatia converted the clear cut chance in the first minutes of the extra time, it would have been a comeback for the ages, big props to them anyway.
And of course an amazing match all around, one for the history books. _________________ Bob Dylan

I'm surprisingly well considering the match haha. Fun game, would not watch a repeat. Not for the faint hearted. My friend and I wanted Oršić to start so badly, and it's evident why. Spain were better and deserved the win, but it could've gone either way, especially with that Kramarić chance...
Btw I take back my "Euro 2020 will be boring" prediction, this round of 16 is fantastic. France is losing, the Dutch are heading home along with Portugal, Italy did not win easily at all and neither did Spain, KDB and Hazard are possibly injured and their team has been just OK-ish so far. If it continues to be this competitive I might even stop hating on the expanded 24 team format. _________________ Finally updated the overall chart
