Because that other thread is really bumming me out, man.

The She & Him album always puts me in a sunny mood. Even the songs that are supposed to be sad just sound so damn cute!

***And, please, no one mention "Don't Worry, Be Happy." The excessive optimism in the song actually just makes me angry.

Because I Got High?!? The song's all about what a screw up he's been because he smoked pot...that's the whole point of the song. I wouldn't bill that as happy.

Seriously, where are you getting that list,RFN? I'd dispute a few other songs there, too.

Let me think of some songs I can't stand to add to this list Wink Okay, I like some of them...going for songs that aren't melancholy, are joyful, have positive sentiments, etc.

So Emotional - Mariah Carey
Save The Best For Last - Vanessa Williams (I actually like this one)
I'm Free - Soup Dragons
Pleasure - Soup Dragons
Good Vibrations - Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch
On Top Of The World - The Carpenters
Groovy Train - The Farm
Sailing - Christopher Cross
Blissed - Jesus Jones

and I'd even include Princes of the Universe by Queen Wink

"Because I Got High" is about how cannabis use is degrading the quality of the singer's life, but the song's comical novelty nature makes me smile each time I hear it. Makes me happy.

Most Paul McCartney songs are great. Got to love "Maxwell's Silver Hammer", a joyful song about something quite horrific.
