Great song. A couple of weeks ago I was in Nashville with some friends and, lo and behold, ended up in a bar with live music. It wasn't very crowded, so in a slow moment the singer started chatting a bit, asking for requests. I suggested some Robert Earl Keen, Lyle Lovett or Steve Earle, but he claimed to not know any of the Texas stuff as he was one of the few people playing in them bars there actually from Tennessee. So I said "Well, Billy Ray Cyrus is from Tennessee, ain't he?". The guy replied "No. He's from Kentucky. And even if he was from Tennessee we wouldn't claim him." Then he played a Hank Williams song.
