Welcome, and btw one of those bands that you want to watch become popular is called "Journey to the End of the Night"; They have not released an album yet, but they hopefully will within the next two years.

Wasn't that the name of an album by Green Carnation?

No, I don't mean that. It's a new awesome post-rock band.

Hi Gwen

I grew up listening to great indie bands like Joy Division and The Smiths and still love discovering new music also. There are a lot of great bands out there even today. Shame that they don't get the chart recognition they deserve!

I always find that the best music is made by obscure artists and not by popular chart bands. Some of the bands that I listen to at the moment are Dead Guitars, Lotus Feed, Black Swan Lane and Luxury Stranger. I bet no one on here has even heard of these bands!

But I love them Very Happy

Secondsoul, thanks for the reco's. That's why I'm here to find new bands to check out. But as I've been going through different charts, I've realized I love being reminded of great albums I forgot about, or just needs another listen after too long.

SquishypuffDave, my apologies. Our secret will remain safe. Very nice friend. Oh, yes, my precious. very nice, very nice.

I can't yet post URLs, but you guys should check out Wildlife Control's new album. I think it deserves way more attention. At the outset it will seem poppy, but once you make it through you'll realize your mind has been blown by the journey it takes you on. It has a great single/music vid for Analog or Digital as well up on the youtubes.

Later dude(s)(ttes), mwah =^.^=
