I've really been getting into the Beastie Boys recently and I've been amazed at how great they are. Their 90's records in particular I've been amazed at by how well they combine hip hop/hardcore/funk/everything in-between. They're great lyricist as well, which I feel is a really underrated part of the group. But this record is great, a highlight of 90's hip hop. I prefer Check Your Head as a record, but no song on that comes close to matching "Sabotage" or "Sure Shot". The last undeniable masterpiece by one of the best rap groups/bands/rap

I have to say I'm a bit surprised by how well liked this is. This was definitely their last really solid album, but of the first four I usually only think of it as the third best. I'll have to listen to it again. I was loading up my mp3 player anyway.

Dope. The Beasties have one of the strongest discographies in hip-hop.
