I'm not talking overrated here. I'm talking bottom of the barrel, scum sucking, mung-licking, diarrhea-inducing, sublimely worthless garbage . Only criteria is that it has to be properly released (no local bands or we'd be here all day).

Camouflage - Rod Stewart
Pilgrim - Eric Clapton

just for a start...

Dylan (1973) by Bob Dylan. Even HE didn't want this one released
Hot Space by Queen (Why?)

Because the great thing with Pinkerton and The Blue Album is the lyrics, if you take away the lyrics they are just another pop-punk band like Green Day but with smarter melodies... And Cuomos lyrics are very much focused on his life as a teenager, about sitting in his garage and listen to Kiss or about that girl he never could get. And if he write about stuff like that in these day it doesn't sound real because he isn't a troubled teenager anymore, he's a 40 year old rockstar, and if he writes about other things it isn't good either because the only thing he ever been able to write about is his troubles...

What about that one with that horrible song about Beverly Hills? Weezer's been going downhill for a while now.

Zeitgeist by Smashing Pumpkins. When did Billy Corgan forget how to include a melody in his music? All but one or two tracks are droning, unlistenable garbage, and those two exceptions aren't exactly great, either.

amen to that, always a shame to see such greatness dragging its heels on the way to mediocrity
