"About chart of the day: The BestEverAlbums.com chart of the day is randomly selected from all charts of at least 50 entries (and divisible by ten). Charts are only selected if they have a minimum average rating of 75 out of 100 from at least 10 votes, and must have been updated in the last 180 days. In addition, a chart must allow member feedback for it to be eligible to be selected."

Why must a chart be divisible by ten? I know at one time somebody suggested that this would eliminate charts in progress. But does it? Why should I list 60 albums in a decade that includes only 51 great albums or eliminate one of the great albums to make 50? Does the artificial limit cause junk albums to be added to be included in COTD? What is wrong with a chart containing a natural breaking point of 75 albums? Can't charts in progress just not be made public as determined by the author?

I'd pick accuracy over neatness every day.

One reason to like BEA over RYM is because it looks neater.

Which decade, post-50's, contains less than one hundred great albums?

IMO, 1980s-2010s. None of my decade charts for those decades list 100.

Fair enough. I'm amazed you think that though. You should listen to more stuff.

I listen to a lot of albums but that doesn't frequently change the number of great albums.
