I think Hayden and Mercury did the same exercise (and I think I did a similar post a long, long time ago) but I guess to have it organized in one thread, so what is your Movie Of The Year for each year? I guess can go back as long as you wish, starting from your birth-year a good starting point or go all the way back to the beginning of cinema or somewhere in between, any way works. You must have caught it on my letterboxd then. I don't think I've posted that here yet. I'm not entirely confident with it yet... it was kinda just whipped up. At this point, it's not exactly the most interesting of lists.

Regardless, here it is: https://letterboxd.com/tepitome/list/my...9-present/

There's still a small handful of ties that I'm trying to eliminate. 2013 is a damn hard year to only pick one film. Under The Skin/Her/Blue Is The Warmest Colour are a pretty strong top spot tie for me.

On a side note, I'm hoping you take part in our all-time list AfterHours Smile Always interesting picks.

Hadn't done this for my list yet, I'm not surprised with the outcome though.

Godard - 5
Chaplin - 5
Kubrick - 3

And about 6 or 7 other directors with 2 on my list.

My current pick for 2017 is I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore, and although it's awesome, it's more or less a placeholder at this point. So many films to look forward to this year...

Also, sidenote, gotta check out Irma La Douce. It's been on my 'to watch' list for too long.
