Hey folks, my sisters are going on a road next week and want me to make them some cds for them. so i was hoping i could get some help suggestions. i remember how awesome yall were with suggestions in the past. If perhaps you have a playlist or whatnot you've enjoyed on the road. Or perhaps a fellow ladies perspective. Anyway they their births range roughly from mod 70's to mid 80's, to give you an idea of their age.
Thanks for the help ahead of time.

I think they would enjoy the entirety of Nail by Scraping Foetus Off the Wheel. It's definitely aimed at girls and is from the mid 80s.

I'm afraid when it comes to 80s I'ma slave to pop. Could only suggest things like Then jerico's Big Area and the like... and nobody wants to see that!

That's perfectly fine. It doesnt need to be from the 80's. Heck, it could be from 1917. looking good so far, thanks a bunch.

ok, tried to pick some "up" tunes, with a driving type vibe and possible singalong in the car quality:

Times like These- Foo Fighters
White Noise maker- Frank Black
Go With the Flow- Queens of the Stone Age
Chemistry- Semisonic
Moving- Supergrass
Sometimes- James
The Girl Who wanted to be God- Manic Street Preachers
In the Meantime- Spacehog
Transmission- Joy Division
Midnight Rider- Allman Brothers Band
My Favourite Game- The Cardigans
Just When You're Thinking Things Over- The Charlatans (UK)
Turn It On- The Flaming Lips
Today- Smashing Pumpkins
Between Love and Hate- The Strokes
Get Free- The Vines
I am the Highway- Audioslave
History- Cast
In a Room- Dodgy
There Goes the Fear- Doves
Chocolate- Snow Patrol
Roam- B 52s
Cannonball- The Breeders
Dreams- The Cranberries
Listen to the Music- The Doobie Brothers
Peace Frog- The Doors
Mr Brightside- The Killers
Can't Stand Me Now- The Libertines
So Here We Are- Bloc Party
Nearer Than Heaven- Delays
Funny Break- Orbital
Cowgirl- Underworld
Zero- Yeah Yeah Yeahs
The Truth is No Words- The Music
....and of course- Running on Empty- Jackson Browne

Hope there's something there of use, tried to be sensitive to age range with the odd classic, but generally pop stuff.
