Here is my response to people who note the lack of 80s albums. This was a reply to a comment on my chart:

@sidneyfranklyn yeah, I've neglected the 80s for a while. I'm doing something on the side at the moment, but I've been meaning to give the 80s more attention. The biggest reason I don't have a lot of 80s albums ranked is because my favorite aesthetics are pretty much 90s-present based (more drugged up, atmospheric stuff). Not to say the 80s doesn't have any, but I just happen to like the products of the 90s+ a lot more. But I will definitely get to the 80s sometime this summer. Plus, I have a rework on this chart coming up and some more 80s albums are actually breaking into the chart, I will just update it all at once.


What a coincidence that this was chart of the day on May 4th because I'm a Star Wars fanatic in real life.
