I think Thad’s stuff will be right up your alley.

Now THIS is how that warble-tuned lo-fi 2nd guitar should sound! Can you give a tutorial on bandcamp or something? So many people try to get this effect and it just sounds like hot garbage.

The rest of the track is very nice too. Along with the last song you posted I'm really looking forward to a full release.

thank you for the kind words. you're not the first or even the second or third or whatever to bring up conor's name. he's probably definitely the artist i most frequently draw comparisons to. but i'm curious why that is.... i've never really "connected" with his music.

(1) The timbre of his voice is pretty close to yours. (2) You both convey emotion through your delivery in much the same way. At least the stuff I like, which is more Fevers and Mirrors than I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning.

thank you. a tutorial? i'm afraid i wouldn't know how to go about doing that or really have the time for it... i lot of it was probably because i went pretty lofi with my recording technique and the moomindrone-t that i ran my guitar through.

great to hear, thank you.

hm... yeah, i will try to give his stuff another chance. it has been a while. i tend to prefer his former bandmate, tim kasher, who i think i take after more songwriting-wise, but yeah, it's probably worth another spin.

New track, influences are all over the place. Industrial/noise rock/metal combined with trip hop. Starting to find my niche with this one I think.
