This might have been covered already...but is anyone else interested in being able to expand the chart to 100 instead of 50? Out of the millions of albums that have been released over the last 60 years, it seems that it is too difficult to limit it to 50.

I think the best way to go about this is to put it in the suggestions forum; if that doesn't work send a ridiculous amount of messages to albummaster any way possible until she/he agrees or gives us a good reason why he/she limits it to 50.

A)Spamming someone is not only rude, it's ineffective, and

B) He's already given good reasons for it, go to the suggestion forum and look them up yourself. This idea is played OUT.

He just said he didn't know if the idea had been brought up before. It has. A bunch. Go to the Suggestions forums if you don't believe me. Dude's already said he has no intention of giving us 100 any time soon.

It's a bad idea. This is supposed to be your personal creme de la creme. We're all music fans. We should be able to do this. 100 misses the point and reduces the personal challenge substantially.

Does anyone remember Tower Records in-store magazine, Pulse? They used to have a Desert Island Discs section that I read religiously. Readers would write in with their top 10 albums to take on a desert island. They only got 10! That was it. Here, we have 50. That's quite the luxury if you ask me. I also mention Pulse because I made a list back then and sent it to them. I have revised it a number of times over the years every time I discover a record with serious staying power or some record falls slightly out of favor with me, and now I have this wonderful web site to post my DID's

I say, keep it short. It's more challenging and fun this way.

I agree with Shankly. You can always make longer lists in the forum and on different websites. I typed out my top 100 in MS Word, printed out 500 copies, and covered my bedroom with them. Feel free to take that idea, guys.
