Congrats, KKS! That sounds like the best honeymoon ever.

Maybe I should spearhead a chart-oriented discussion, but I doubt you guys would have the patience to discuss my long ass retrospectives. I am really stumped at how to contribute to the forums right now.

I'm really depressed by the new Belle and Sebastian EPs. I love this band but this is the worst music they've ever made as far as I'm concerned Sad I shouldn't complain as they've been consistently good to great for so many years. For some reason I thought they would never dip so low in their quality.

It is a sad day when a great artist (although I never really got into them) dips below expectations. It happens to a lot of them.

Totally, I like it when bands quit whilst they are ahead, like the Sex Pistols hehe.

Actually, it turns out this Belle EP is better on repeated listens. Some good tunes emerging from within the odd genre-mash ups and slightly dodgy vocals. Still could be better though in my view.

And often that is what happens when an artist goes bad - they actually are just as good, they just don't meet our expectations of what they "should be".
