Anybody else feel a bit of existential revulsion that "The Story of an Artist" is now being used to sell IMacs?

I ALMOST THOUGHT ABOUT POSTING THIS, no lie.

Wild hearing Daniel on a TV ad. Like, it's bold, and kinda cool, but it draws mixed feelings. Suppose he would have personally approved of it though, and landed a pretty healthy cheque (I hope). Still draws some strange conflicting emotions.

Great track though.

I hate to impose my own totally ignorant viewpoint, as I know nothing about grief, but does this seem soon? I recall someone telling me it takes, on average, 7 years to fully process someone close to us dieing. Could be made up.

And I haven't a clue if anyone can really say there's an 'official' grieving period timeframe, but it does feel a little weird after two very gutwrenching albums about the topic.

Does anyone else agree that Mr. Tillman by Father John Misty sounds really like Test Match Special by The Duckworth Lewis Method?

I've been on such a Neil Hannon and Josh Tillman binge this summer, I think this must be the common thread.

Speaking of whole album covers from this year, this one hasn't gotten enough love on this website yet:

Remain In Light by Angélique Kidjo

My sacrilegious opinion is that it's better than the original Anxious

It’s not bad. A good replacement for Azealia and Nicki, since Azealia cancelled her album and Nicki’s is a bit of a disappointment imo. You’ll probably like Junglepussy’s new album too.
