Now Ariel Pink has appeared on Tucker Carlson in a segment called "Musician's Life Ruined By Cancel Culture Mob." Considering how there have been surges of support from MAGA-world for other musicians who've expressed their support of Trump, I wonder what conservatives who are now streaming Ariel Pink for the first time think of the music. _________________ Add me on RYM

I can't even begin to imagine what they'd think of most of his music, but I'm sure they're big fans of "Not Enough Violence." _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.

looks like the link is dead, but judging by the URL, this looks like a hot take and something I'd be interested in reading. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!

I don’t know if this sounds really silly, but I personally think of it like Rock Slope, a fictitious band with dozens of album entries on RYM.

Rock Slope Destroys America by Rock Slope
Even without the controversial genre tags people would add to these “nonexistent” releases (one of them used to be the highest-rated “numbers station broadcast” album on the whole site, which led to the feature being removed for these releases), there still are the silly song titles, the cartoonish instruments named, the often-absurd track lengths, and the cameo appearances by other musicians to give a hint of what these “albums” would sound like. And often I genuinely feel looking at these RYM pages like I can imagine the music perfectly, and adore it.
I’m by no means musically trained, but I believe at their best, scores can be like that. They ARE music, but they’re just organizing sound hypothetically instead of materially.

This is more upsetting than what Fell said. Like every score should be able to do this, even a graphical score like treatise https://blogthehum.com/2016/02/29/corne...e-1963-67/ what are the scores at their worst that cannot
