Yeah, def get on that at some point. They don't have the biggest discography, so it isn't terribly daunting. I'd say start with Souvlaki and then follow up with their latest.

Will do that in a moment in time. Just don't know what I'll tackle next.

Yeah they seem like a band I would love in theory being that I am indeed an old boring sad sack, but I have just never been able to get into their music, mainly cause I find them a more temperate version of bands doing similar things in a much more interesting way. Oh well, maybe I just like my sadness a little more black metal these days

hehe - well said and I agree. I don't feel like The National or Interpol or Snow Patrol or any of those late 2000s bands really were that interesting. Fun music for the time, absolutely. Looking back - eh it felt a bit regurgitated and missing flair.

Jack White on the other hand regurgitated stuff, but totally has flair in my opinion.

The National give a master class on what it sounds like when you decide to stop writing trendy pop songs and use your talent to make something worth listening to.

Grizzly Bear give a master class on what it sounds like when you don't.

I should be made fun of and/or murdered.

David Bowie doesn't show up on my overall list until 146 albums in.

Granted if I were to do one artist per album he would be at 116... but still... WTF.

It's The Man Who Sold The World. Just checked his 70's chart and it's at 32 there, so my guess is that it's his favourite Bowie album.
