Dope. Hope they don't mess it up (doubt they will, Shields cares too much). I've been staring at expensive counterfeit copies for far too long Laughing

Boy, This Woman's work is such a beautiful song, but the part where the choir esque voices sing the pre chorus completely ruins the entire effect of the song. 2 minutes and 30 seconds or so into it and you just ruin the whole thing with 10 seconds of singing.

The ending is fucking garbage too. It was such a perfect song until it hits the end.

Not a metal head by any means but off to see the Dillinger Escape Plan tonight in what is apparently their swansong tour. Math metal sounds exotic so looking forward to it.

Well that was different!. Their lead singer wore a black shawl until the encore like some medieval monk. But I'd doubt the fluteists of yore would put on a performance as enthralling and acrobatic as the Dillenger Escape Plan did tonight. I really enjoyed myself but even if you're not a HM person you must appreciate the level of dedication and effort that goes into their performance. Like the best sports teams, they leave their guts out on the field.

I think they might be one of only a handful of bands that, to me, make technicality listenable. The King Crimson's and Don Caballero's of the world. They also have done some pretty crazy stuff on stage in their careers, I had just seen a video of their singer jumping of a balcony into the crowd at some venue.

They play this at the end of every Dodger game they win... (at Dodger Stadium).

Today they won and advance to the World Series... first time since 1988.
