Daft Punk have broken up.

Well that sucks. I was hoping they'd make an appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show but I guess they had their issues behind the scenes.

They're both fantastic composers/musicians, so hopefully they'll continue to make great music on their own.

I wonder if Disney will be able to snag one of them for whatever Tron project they're working on, I know working with Disney was a huge issue for Daft Punk.

Hopefully this isn't forever, but they had been together for nearly 30 years so who knows. I think they'll probably each go on to produce some great pieces, then maybe come back for a reunion at some point. Who knows. Also hard to believe RAM was 8 years ago.

Oh shit, yeah, that would be totally up your alley it seems. Great album. And Roberto Cacciapaglia is a worthy listen in his own right.

Would have to think harder on a real top 5, but one that I feel gets overlooked a lot is "Lithium Stiffs". It's so serene, I love it. It builds nicely into "Crest" too

So, this from middle of last year but I'm just now watching it and... I'm spellbound. You can finally cross seeing a wandelweiser performance in Animal Crossing off your bucket list.

My Bloody Valentine are back in the studio. Saying an album might be cut by the end of the year.
