- Post subject: Chart Will Not Update
|
Hello,
I have recently been updating my greatest-ever chart (http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=10820) and have had problems doing so. When I go to the edit chart page and try to add a fiftieth entry, I get the message, "Your chart has the maximum number of undefined entries." I only have 49 entries, none of which were blank. I tried deleting a few entries and adding them back, to no avail. I actually at one point deleted all of the entries and still got the same message. (I then clicked "back" as to lose no data.)
What is going on? Is the only option to delete the chart and re-enter all fifty artists and all fifty albums?
Thank you for your time!

Apologies for the problem. I've just tried testing on your chart to see if the problem still exists, but the problem seems to have disappeared. I'll investigate why it happened, but the other thing to try is to press CTRL+F5 on the chart editor page, and this will refresh your browser cache in case the files in your local browser are out of date (which also might cause errors if they are older versions).

Good news: I revisited to chart with hope, but when I clicked the green button, the problem occurred again ... but then I tried refreshing with the F5 combo you suggested (Ctrl + Fn + F5 on my machine) and ... like magic, bam! Fixed the problem swiftly.
Thank you for your help!

I'm having the same issue.
However the fix described isn't working.
Any advice?

I'm using FireFox and I have manually cleared my browser cache.

Hi, which chart are you having problems with? I've tried with the overall chart in FF and it seems ok, so is it one of the others?

Now this is happening to me, and the fix isn't working either. The chart is a custom chart entitled "recs" where I'm putting all the recs I get. It is set to private.

Hi, sorry for the problem. Are you using Firefox as well, or a different browser?
