This album is the fucking best. Before I heard this album I was pretty much a classic rock only asshole who thought he had good taste, then I started listening to The Clash and it broadened my tastes so much. I would not be here if it wasn't for The Clash. Anyways, this is one of the best albums ever made, and one of the few I'd consider perfect in everyway. It's diverse in style, the songwriting is The Clash at their peak, the lyrics are sharp, intelligent, and passionate and also represent The Clash at their peak. That's what this album really is, one of the best bands ever at their best. Anyone with a mild interest in music needs to listen to this album.

Dropped out of my top 5 in the past few days, but I still love it immensely, best album of the 70's!
One of the first albums I ever bought! _________________

19 songs, and not one of them is a dud. Most bands struggle to throw together a 10 song album with one song as good as anything on London Calling. I love Paul Simonon's contribution "Guns of Brixton."

If it had been cut to the following 12 tracks, it would have been perfect:
1. London Calling
2. Brand New Cadillac
3. Jimmy Jazz
4. Hateful
5. Rudie Can't Fail
6. Spanish Bombs
7. The Right Profile
8. Lost In The Supermarket
9. Clampdown
10. The Guns Of Brixton
11. Revolution Rock
12. Train In Vain
With all 19 it's just awesome. _________________ Always shouts out something obscene

A great album, though it would be a bit hard for repeat listenings for me considering the number of tracks , but it's still a great listen!
Also the album cover is probably my favourite album cover of all time. It just looks so massive in scale. _________________
