Glad to share, and I'm also not big on metal at all, but the doc is done by Vice, who specialize in docs that no one else has the balls to do, watch it and you'll understand why...consistently compelling with a climax that's equal parts scary, confusing, and enlightening
If you like it, check out some of Vice's other stuff, there's a great doc where they manage to get into North Korea and film an experience I never would have imagined had I not seen it. Let's just say it'll make you a little less afraid of them as a threat....
There's a great BBC series called The Seven Ages of Rock. You can probably find it on You Tube. I also have found some really cool BBC shows on The Stone Roses and The Smiths. I believe the Stone Roses one is called "Blood on the turntable."
