I am starting to think there should be an alternate server where the banned users go. Everything album related would be shared between the two servers (charts, ratings, album and band listings) but everything social would not (forums, comments). This way when you start falling out of the crowd, you could find a place to run away to without losing your BEA charts and stuff privileges and the crowd would still benefit from your musical input while no longer being offended by your inappropriate postings.

I think I will report that post myself.

OK I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too bored now.

I like it. I'm not saying it should be done, but I like it.

I was actually pitching a similar idea to some BEA buds a while ago - I suggested we create a new subheading entitled "coliseum", a no-holds-bar, un-moderated, anything goes hell hole that anyway can post in, but that banned users can't post OUT of. Like a super jail. It would also serve to entertain the not-banned users, who could watch the idiots there in controlled chaos while none of it would sully the real forums and the discussions therein.

Each regular user could "sponsor" one of the rejects and we could organize battles. Joj vs Naples, JMan vs Gary, etc.
