I think the only way I'm going to use custom charts is to add more albums to the site's database... Gonna call them charts "Albums I added in BEA" or something lame like that. I guess.

I did that, and I wondered if it was right. People would prefer you didn't do that because the point of this site isn't to add as many albums as possible to the site. It's to find what the greatest albums are. I've made the same argument "For the sake of a bigger database," and it's still frowned upon.

Is there any point in an album being in the database unless it's on a chart?

For the sake of a wider database.

Trust me, don't. It only appears as spamming to some people. Take it from a man who's put two albums on the site without hearing them.

Well, one target does not cancel another, that's why forum topics like "Politics" and "Lounge" exist. I don't understand why would someone disagree on adding more albums on the site.

Ask the moderators. I believe the one I asked was Romanelli. Either that or Outlaw who I'm closest with.

Spamming? No way-more like an improvement to the site.

Definitely the friendliest chart I have seen on this site.

Great in the sense that it's funny how accurate it is!

Also, just made a grunge chart:

Why would you do that, JMan? Did you put those albums on your chart? I know you don't own any music...but would you really add an album and put it on your chart without even HEARING it??????

Actually, I also do that. on this chart to be exact:

http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=11589

Of course, the point of this chart is to have a list of albums I need to listen to so it really isn't the same situation.
