In the vein of my charts for Astral Spirits, Treader, and Fataka, I've created charts for what I've heard from Incus and Instant Composers Pool. Charts for BYG Actuel, Hat Hut, and Otoroku possibly in the future. Eventually the goal is to get bored of doing charts of improvised music by label and start doing charts of improvised music by decade.

I haven't managed to listen to everything I've wanted to (or even come close) due to it being a very busy year, but I've finally managed to update my 2017 chart, so take a look and drop me some recommendations off.

Created playlist of my charts and putting them on shuffle helps me see them granularly at a track level. So far I like this approach that allows me to confirm if song for song an album deserves it.

Updated Overall chart for first time in a year. Been listening to a lot of Bowie, Eno, Iggy Pop, Kraftwerk the past year and listening to albums from 67, 77, 87, 97, and 07 - so the list might be slightly heavy there. If you stick around to #100 and you're a parent you might get a chuckle out of the last album. If you have any recs let me know in the comments. Thanks!

You surprised me Tara Jane O'Neil, it seemed like no one else heard that album and it's a shame since it's very good.

Rearranging the very top of your best ever chart is one of the most exciting and frustrating things at the same time
