It's like a magic eye puzzle. At first, you can't make out the image, but then after hours of concentration and mental fortitude, you still don't know what the fuck it is.

Yeah, that Laraaji album is dope (along with the Sun Gong EP he released with it). New Iglooghost is a must-listen too.

I just made the worst list I've ever made. It shall be mocked.

It's strange seeing someone who obviously listens to a lot of music still appreciating Muse.

I still dig OoS but I can't stomach anything after that.

Laughing

Yeah... I think it's their application of classical qualities into music that I've only really heard Sigur Ros do as well.

Other than that, Muse is terribly boring at times as they use the same or similar formula for almost everything they write.

But so did Mozart and Bach... so idk.

So other than the formula issue and maybe mediocre lyrics and a turn from passionate music to bland music, what is it you don't like about them... Laughing

(By the way so many artists have this same problem... or they just have one amazing record and like... die or decide to be a waitress again or something...)

hehe thanks.

I put it together according to my ratings... and even I don't agree with it. Which is kind of odd beacuse it really should be a mix of my 2000s and 2010s list... idk. Fun project which I intend to revisit if only mentally.

Just made a chart limited to the very best albums I've listened to for the first time this year (not counting 2015, 2016, 2017 releases). A bunch were additions to the database, so hopefully it contains some new finds for people.
