I noticed that My overall chart is becoming more and more 2010'sie as the year passes, and I don't really know what to think, I absolutely love this decade, but It's weird how much new music I've been consuming and how much older music hasn't been doing much for me, anyone experiencing the same thing?

Also validate my existence pls

No, but you’ll always be BEAutiful to me...

Here’s a track from my album (well, EP) of the year. It’s new, but it’s old. It’s also got that Fittipaldi track on it I like.

Hereby you're existence is validated as one of the key members of BEA.
I wouldn't go as far as you that the 2010's is the best decade ever because there has been so much good music in other decades but I do agree with you that especially the latter part of the 2010's is spawning a lot of good albums which are already to be considered as classics.
For the moment I have already 4 albums of the 2010's in my overall top chart and I had already included 2 of 2018 until I noticed that 2018 albums don't count for the overall ranks so I removed them and will normally re-include them in 2019.
I any case this year is only half way through and I already have 69 albums in my top chart, a number I normally don't reach for a full year. Of course this is already due to this streaming age where you can find any album you like to listen to on one of the platforms: in my time you had to go out and buy them.

yes dude that is me so much -- if you look at my overall its like half from the 2010s i think. its honestly healthier that way i think, like we're here right now, shouldnt we mostly be consuming stuff as it happens? or else who will? cant get stuck in the past Wink

Just finished the first iteration of my first ever decade chart for the '00s. Looking to do '80s and '90s in the next couple of weeks, '60s and '70s within a couple of months. Will be adding '10s albums as I think of them. For variety's sake, none of the albums in my overall will be on my decade charts.

会席料理 [Kaiseki] by Hayden

My take on Japan, and the music I love from there, evergrowing.

Clean, precise, complex, flowing, explosive, no soy sauce allowed, don't ask for teriyaki — or else.

Ordering is strategically not best-to-worst, but rather like chapters, or courses.

いただきます.

Yeah, Motohiko caught onto the hashtag pretty early. That's actually a recent find, think I only heard it for the first time sometime in late May. Lovely record. And, honestly, I have notes written all over it about hip-hop samples Laughing I feel like there's some gems on there.

Still making a few tweaks here and there... hoping to have it up to 80 sometime soon... needs a smidge more 90's output.
