So I wanted to make a Best Ever User thread with a poll gathering all the forum users. I thought it'd be a fun idea. The problem is that the limit number of poll options is way too low. I read somewhere that it was 20, but there are much more than 20 poll-worthy forum users. Maybe like 60 or 70, or 50 at the very least.
I really think a thread like that would bring much more fun than arguments, and the results could be interesting. Would it be possible to have more poll options to do it? Anyway, if you think it's a bad idea, there's no need to argue much more, as it would probably be the only thread which would use that many poll options.

There was a phase on the forums where we all ranked how annoying or cool we found each other.

It's was sort of interesting, although I don't see why your compliments or criticisms of someone should be reserved to a poll, just speak your mind people.
I don't see why poll options shouldn't be increased, though it could make the forums a little messier, and wading through 70 options would be ridiculous. You can always just make a poll on a different website and link it.
But whatever floats the boat, y'all.

If you are doing a Best Ever User elections you should let people vote more than once aka make your vote a post saying who you vote for.

Should do a knockout tournament to decide it, would get really messy I reckon  would be good fun though.

Heh, forgot about those threads, I guess I technically have the title of "Worst Ever User" then.
I think that such a tourney/thread could work well if it was executed properly.

Agreed, I like the idea if it's done properly.
But it's probably inevitable that it'd result in a giant shitstorm...

I'll think about a tournament then. It could be a shitstorm, or be totally awesome. I don't think it'll be boring anyway. Maybe I should wait for the end of the two current tournaments before starting this one? It's not a musical one, but... I don't know. What do you think?

I don't think it would conflict, since it really doesn't involve any listening.
Here's an idea, what if we do a bracketed tourney, like the 2 going on right now, but users nominate another user or 2, who they would then promote through the bracketed tourney?
