Nice alliterative title, eh?
Anyways, I just thought this would be a better way of recommending albums and have people actually listen to them:
Basically, if, say you want to listen to a Brazilian ballroom dance punk group, you could post a few Brazilian ballroom dance punk albums and people would kindly give you some other albums that sound similar, or you could post what you want to hear, what atmosphere and sound you want, or you could just post the genre. Make sure to cater to what they ask for! Don't be super specific so that no one has what you want though (ie. don't say I want "a Radiohead cover album played on an acoustic guitar by a man with one finger who sings Joy Division lyrics") because that is fucking ridiculous, you terrible person.
Let's see how this goes.

Someone recommend me a drone influenced album, something that has lyrics, but is still very much drone.

Looking for an album that sounds like The Body, the Blood, the Machine by The Thermals. Your basic indie rock/punk rock type stuff with a distinctive voice and well written lyrics.

Not sure if you've heard Cloud Nothings - Attack on Memory but, it sounds right up your alley. _________________ gi

This is a good one, if you can find their live EP "Live at the Grog Shop" that would be even better. It's basically just that album, done better, with the couple duds take out, and the few good tracks form their past albums put in instead.

I'm looking for indie pop with guitar like Mac Demarco's 2 or Alex Calder's Time.

It's vinyl only, 1000 handmade copies, one of which i'm lucky enough to own. If you find a digital version I'd be happy if you'd send it my way.

I've at least heard of that album. I can't quite remember listening to it though I'm sure I have. I'll be sure to check it out/revisit it sometime soon.
