I've started but it's hard. Mostly I haven't really written about the music at all, just rambled about why the albums mean so much to me, but there's probably more about me than there is the music Confused I just pretty much cannot write about why one bit of music is better than another, is what I've done ok?

What about word count too, is it a strict minimum of 450?

what you've done is fine. I personally think a minimum of 450 is ridiculous; do whatever you can

Oh, that's cool. Yeah I'm struggling to make 450 for some of them I'll just have to leave them a bit short.

Now that I'm actually involved with this I'm suddenly really excited to see it, can everyone else please start doing their reviews too if they haven't yet Mr. Green

I think I understand you. How could something you love so dearly be perceived as you intend when you have such a poor control of language? However, we must try our best and we must realize perception is disparate among people; the best we can do is purvey our thoughts and hope they encourage others to fall in love with our favorite albums because of our passionate descriptions of them. The best we can do is the best we can do, and so just simply submit your reviews. Faulkner could not worry if the universal humanity in his novels transposed to European ideals, he just did as is soul guided him. And you, too, should just write your reviews, as your soul guides you. Just write your fuckin' reviews

You do understand me to an extent I guess Laughing But I made a mistake back then, and I guess I'm going to submit fewer reviews than I originally intended.

oh dear. I suppose I could make a thread, put all of the reviews (unedited) into the OP, and then the remainder could be discussion/criticism/appreciation of those reviews. Anyone else have any thoughts? I'll be on sparingly this week since I have the flu or sth worse, so there's time for people to come up with something cooler.

Just putting them in a thread doesn't seem good enough but if the book isn't happening I can't really think of any better ideas Confused

Sad

Couldn't someone of the initial reviewers just standardize the different reviews into a Word format (1 page/review ; same layout artist ; album title ; track picks etc.. ), and then upload the whole thing in a google doc which people could print out as a booklet or personalize with say album covers and stuff if they wanted to ?

Just an idea to save this beautiful BEA project Wink
