Couldn't someone of the initial reviewers just standardize the different reviews into a Word format (1 page/review ; same layout artist ; album title ; track picks etc.. ), and then upload the whole thing in a google doc which people could print out as a booklet or personalize with say album covers and stuff if they wanted to ?

Just an idea to save this beautiful BEA project Wink

Sounds like a great idea, I'd be happy to do this if others prefer this

I think it's time to bring back this project, I still have my (two) reviews on my computer. I agree with Cellar Door's idea too.

That's actually a really good idea ... if this was done over Google Drive somehow (some of us are having problems installing word), we could even save any especially good formats as PDFs to share here. Then say I wanted the CellarDoor edition of the book and KKS wanted the HigherThanTheSun edition of the book, that could be a thing. Just an idea...

Surely easier if we pick the best format first and everyone makes sure their submissions fit that format? Not sure if anyone will have the time to edit 1001 entries after they've been submitted.

If we make sure everyone includes artwork with the reviews, and essential info about the album, and track picks and whatever else we want, in a standard format, then bundle them all into a pdf then this thing would still be pretty great I think.

Just realised I pretty much repeated what Cellar said, although I think album artwork is pretty much essential.

Also, I guess if we already have a standard format, then subsequent editing shouldn't actually be too hard if anyone wanted to.
